Suggest A Remedy For Sinus Drainage In Throat

I have to speak for 25 minutes tomychurchcongregation. I have rather severe sinus/nasal
L drainage that forces me to constantly clear my throat while speaking. Can you suggest a way to off- set this problem even if for short time. Thanks. John whatley,Panama City, florida

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain it seems that you are suffering from post nasal drip that can occur due to causes like cold and flu, sinus infection or sinusitis,allergies, deviated nasal septum etc..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaaryngologist and get evaluated and thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like Sputum culture, throat swab culture, PNS viw x ray of sinuses etc can help in diagnosis and treatment can be planned accordingly..
You can be advised to take a course of antibiotics, anti allergics like Levocetrizine, decongestants like PhEnylephrine, mucolytics like Ambroxol and also do steam inhalations and use a humidifier in your room..
Sip on plenty of warm water..
Avoid spicy and chilled foods and take a soft bland diet.
Saline nasal irrigations can also help.
