Suggest A Remedy For Snapping Sound On Finger With Limp Fingertip Post Injury

Hello, earlier todayn I was spot cleaning the carpet. I pushed forward and heard what sounded like a snap in the bone at the top of the finger near the firs joint. The tip of my finger hang down and was limp. I have iced it and put it in a finger split. Should I do more?

it can be dislocation or fracture. ice application you have done but it require surgical repair. stapling or wiring can be done by orthopedic surgeon after that it can be immobilized for some time.analgesic anti inflammatory may be taken. you should improve.
