Suggest A Remedy For The Pain And Bruising On The Ribs

I got speared in a hockey game 2 weeks ago. Basically I ran full speed into a stick which poked me (very hard) in the stomach, just under my ribs. There was very little visible bruising, although bending over on that side is still painful. I noticed last night that I have a few hard lumps (a few millimeters diameter each) in the area where I was hurt. Should I be concerned about those nodules?
