Suggest A Remedy For The Pain In The Ear Due To Piercing
Hi, I had my upper cartilage pierced a week and a half ago and when i first went he said i had difficult ears to pierce but, said he could do it anyway. i've been having really bad pain and last night I went to A&E who told me that i'm allergic to the metal and I was close to getting septicemia, the piercer screwed a lip bar in my ear so it took three doctors to get it out because it was stuck they've put me on a strong course of Anti-biotics. I was already poorly but today i've started feeling very poorly; my question is: when will I start to feel better? (18 years old)
As per your query, you have symptoms of pain in the ear due to piercing which is pointing towards infection and it could be due to fact that instruments used are not clean enough or not sterilized and leads to formation of pus and pain as well.
I would suggest you to do: - Maintain complete hygiene and keep rotating ring and do not remove ring from ear - Take Advil or Tylenol medicine for pain - Apply Fucidic acid cream to treat infection - Clean it properly
Consult ENT specialist for proper examination. Doctor may prescribe antibiotic course for 5 days to subside infection.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
