General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

In most cases, it will pass through the feces. An X-ray has to be taken to check whether it is stuck in the food pipe or not.

If it is stuck in the food pipe, it has to be removed. You have to check the poop whether the coin passed or not. Ask him to take food as normal.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
