Hi,
Noted your short history of throbbing with
heart rate, GP thinks you are wasting your time, you have tried
Sudafed but no results, had
ear infection 6 weeks ago.
All your history is indicative that you still have inflammation in the affected ear, causing the typical throbbing you have explained in spite of normal blood pressure.
Hence I would advise you the following:
Consult an ENT Surgeon as son as possible so that you can have proper ENT
Endoscopy to get a proper diagnosis.
The cause will be found.
Necessary investigations like
CT scan or MRI can tell the exact cause inside so that proper antibiotic, anti-inflammatory medicine can help you to get cured.
If a specific cause is found then surgery may be required if the medical management fails.
Do not blow nose.
Continue medicines as per your Doctor's advise.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, ENT and General Surgeon
