Suggest Advice On Self Help For Pleurisy?

Can you give any advice on self help for pleurisy please? I am just beginning a course of antibiotics but would like to know if I can continue with normal activities (moderate exercise) where comfort allows, or should I be resting? I'm bored with that though after 4 weeks. Thanks

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Yes, you can can definitely do your routine activity which is not troubling you.
Avoid movements add activities which cause pain.
Apply warm water pad on affected areas.
You can ask also take painkiller if pain is severe.
Pleurisy is due to inflammation of pleura. And hence anti inflammatory drugs are also helpful.
So, don't worry, you cannot do your normal routine activities.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
