Suggest Alternate Remedy For Pain In Upper Back And Arm

I've been out of work for 6 months going from dr to dr (neuro & ortho) with pain in my upper back/neck shoulder and upper arm. The MRI report talks about "Disc degeneration at C6-C7 w/assoc discogenic change of abutting endplates". After 6 months of PT/Chiro treatments and, if anything, the pain is worse and now I have numbness that comes and goes in my little and ring finger of that side. Any ideas on what I should do next? I am an EMT and it kicked in during a stair chair carry. I'm 51, 6'2" @ 190 lbs.
