Suggest Alternative For Copper T To Prevent Pregnancy

Hello Maam, me 25 yrs of age , height 5' 3", weight 53 kgs. I have a baby of 2 months. Now I do not need a baby for at least for 3-4 yrs. Wanna use copper T . what is the right time to use it.is there any better alternative like injections etc. pls. suggest. Rgds,Rashmita

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion copper T is the first and best option as contraceptive as it has less sideeffects compared to hormonal ones.Its lifespan will be like 3 yrs,5yrs,10yrs etc.So you can choose any of it.Copper T in a few woman cause pain abdomen,excessive and intermenstrual bleeding.If you face such sideeffects you can remove the copper T and go for another option.Hormonal pills and injections cause weight gain,irregular periods and spotting and no periods sometimes.So try copper T first and then if not ok you can go for hormonal injections or pills.
