Suggest Alternative Medication For Celebrex

I was on celebrex 200mg twice a day for a few years, It is starting to affected my kidney function. My Dr put me on Effexor ER 75mg and told me to take arthritis strength tylenol. That does nothing. And the Effexor makes me very sleepy. Is there an anti depressant I can take and still take an Anti inflamatory. What is a good one besides Celebrex. Sorry I did not know there was a charge for this. So I will not go any farther.

Hi,

You can take Etoricoxib once a day in place of Celebrex. Also, you can try Sertaline once daily in place of Effexor ER 75 as an antidepressant as it does not cause sleepiness but it may take a few days for the effect to be visible.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
