Suggest Alternative Medication For Bipolar Disorder
Hi, my wife has been under treatment for (BPMD) for last 7 years. As advised by our doctor she takes Lithium Carbonate 300mg thrice a day. Despite that, the problem of mania (excitement ) very often relapses. She also takes 75mg of Thyroxin. We have one 8yrs baby and there is no other complications. When the problem relapse she loses her sleep and slowly becomes aggressive/violent. Is there any other alternative medication ? .

I really appreciate your concern, as long as the functional disease are concern there are several alternatives available but it is not advisable to use them instead try to bring here out of this condition by counselling, by moral support, and other non pharma medicines hope this helps, take care and have a nice day.
