It seems to me that only truly effective treatment for knee osteoarthritis is knee replacement and weight loss. I have tried both steroid injection and SynVisc with limited relief. Knee replacement is far to radical a procedure. I m looking for some type of flubber injection to simulate the cartilage...

Hello,

I think surgery it the last option to treat osteoarthritis. Losing weight is necessary for every stage. Try using glucosamine and Chondroitin supplements to improve joint conditions. Also you may need to use anti-inflammatory drugs such Advil or acetaminophen for pain and inflammation.
