Suggest Alternative Medication For Severe Itching On Whole Body

I have been experiencing an annoying itching on my hands, feet and forearms. It started on my hands but is moving around my body. It is waking me up at night and driving me crazy during the day. I ve tried using soothing lotions and hydrocortisone cream, but nothing is working.

Hi

Your history may be suggestive of allergy to either food, pollen, fabric or any other medication. From the previous episodes and present symptoms you need to recollect and identify the cause and remove the allergen exposure in the future. Incase of a particular food or fabric ,it must be avoided.

Any recent history of new medication intake,Fever and rashes should be noted.Blood sugar levels and complete blood counts including eosonophil count should be taken to rule out any abnormalities.

Antihistamines or moderately potent steroids are essential to reduce the itching.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards
