General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be due to fungal infection or irritation to chemicals like soap you are using. Avoid soaps and irritants on general area. You can use warm water or saline or hypo allergic soaps like cetaphil. Ointments with combination of more potent anti fungals like miconazole or terbinafine and corticosteroids like flucinolone for local application will be helpful. Taking fluconazole weekly once will be helpful in stopping recurrence.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks
