Suggest Alternative Of Warfarin For DVT And Pulmonary Embolism
I take warfarin for the past few years and have to test to maintain a therapeutic
level. I have experienced DVTs and Pulmonary Embelisions on two different occasions due to blood clots.
I am wondering if I should consider discussing switching medicine to Xarelto.

I can understand your situation and problem.
In my opinion you should continue warfarin for DVT and pulmonary embolism.
Because warfarin is time tested and very well studied drug for these conditions.
It os having greatest effect on blood coagulation profile , more than other oral anticoagulants.
So my personal opinion is to continue warfarin and not to change it.
