Suggest An OTC Medicine For Itchy Bruises

Our son recently encountered numerous scraps and contusions from falling off his skateboard Monday evening. Took him to ER for treatment and now is complaining the healing of those bruises are very itchy! Is there anything over the counter that can be used to eliminate the itch? Would Benadryl possibly be an alternative?

Can use caladryl lotion or placentrx gel for external application to get rid of the itchy lesion.
