Suggest An Alternative Medication For Fentanyl

hello, I was prescribed fentanyl transdermal patches @ 100mcg per 72 hours about a year ago and i am experiencing side effects (cold sweats and chills). This is no way to live, so my question to you is as follows, is there any other comparable drug available that might not have these side effects and that might even be more affordable as I can no longer work and my income has had a serious reduction. I was started on methadone did not work, then morphine which i had bad side effects also, then to fentanyl. Fentanyl is a great pain reliver but the side effects are too much. i also take 6 30 mg oxycodone. I have had multiple injuries to my back, multiple fractures and believe it or not, eighteen damaged disks. Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time, Jerry
