is there a similar prescription for Cipro HCL 500 that does not have the side effect of causing urinary blockage? my husband is being treated for a serious urinary infection. he bleeds clots and has trouble a lot of time urinating..he has to cough to get the urine out. YYYY@YYYY we need a substitute to treat this

Hello,

As per your history, instead of tab. Cipro, for UTI you can take tab. Nitrofurointoin and syrup Cital after consultation.

In case of reaction take tab. Loratadine. keep yourself hydrated. Kindly do urine culture sensitivity, complete hemogram after consultation.
