Suggest An Alternative Of Lansoprazole

Hello Doctor, Please advise if Lansoprazole has another generic name. My wife has recently been prescribed this medicine and wishes to know if it is intended to replace another medicine that she may have been on. Hi,

Lansoprazole is an effective acid reducer commonly used to provide heartburn relief and help heal ulcers and so are esomeprazole and omeprazole.

All these drugs function similarly and can be used once a day. She can take Prilosec (Omeprazole ) now.
