Suggest An Alternative Of Percocet

My sister is under a doctor s care, using Percocet. She slurs her words, at times is unable to control her bowels or urine, gets dizzy and does not feel well. She has pain in her neck, back and knees. Are other medications beside opioids available to take for pain? When taking Percocet, how long does it take to wean off of it? Thank you for your response.

Alternative medication of Percocet include drugs which are available without a prescription such as Aspirin, Ibuprofen, and Acetaminophen. Drugs with prescription include opioids, like Codeine.
