Suggest An Alternative Of Prolixin For The Treatment Of Schizophrenia

Hello I have a question about Schizophrenia. My girlfriend is currently taking prolixin oral. She use to get the injection but it was causing her to gain 1-2 lbs every 2 weeks so she stopped injections and is taking 10 mg pills. The pills are not as effective and her episodes are occurring more frequently. Is there any new medicines or different medicines that you can suggest.
