General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Swelling can be due to infection or inflammation. Bartholin gland infection can result such swelling. Hot fomentation will be helpful. Using intimate wash is also good. If no improvement then consult your doctor as you need to take antibiotics.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Nishad BN, General & Family Physician
