I have two planter s warts on my right foot that won t go away. I ve tried going to see a foot doctor & treatment used was acid & Lazer treatment. I did that for at least 6 months, every two week. I still have the planter s warts & went for another acid treatment this week....now my foot hurts & is pinkish & burning.

Hello,

Acid treatment is not effective in recurrent treatment. As the lesion keeps on reappearing, you can try newer techniques like cryosurgery. Consult a dermatologist and he will direct you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
