Pulmonologist 's  Response
Thanks for your question on HCM.
In my opinion you should consult him to pulmonologist and get done PFT (pulmonary function test) to rule out Bronchial asthma.
Possibility of asthma is high in his case because of following reasons.
1. Raised IgE level (allergic disease)
2. Presence of lung spasm.
3. Recurrent symptoms.
So better to first diagnose him and than start treatment accordingly.
Asthma is manageable disease by inhaled bronchodilators. Home remedies are not helpful in this disease.
If food allergy is present than he should avoid taking particular food. But inhaled bronchodilators are must if he found to have asthma.
So better to consult pulmonologist and rule out asthma first and start Treatment accordingly.
