Hello there
First of all you must understand that diabetes is a LIFESTYLE DISORDER. When we cross limits of partiality (in form of schedule and food habit ) with our body, our body manifest its anger in form of certain diseases one of which is diabetes. It warns us, enough is enough, now if you do even a single wrong thing with me I am going to react in the same way. That's why if a person wish to control his diabetes only with the help of medicines ends up with increasing dose of medicines and uncontrolled diabetic complication. So we must strictly adhere to EXERCISE & DIET MANAGEMENT to control diabetes and minimize the medicine dose.
TWO ASPECTS are considered in the management of a diabetic patient -
(1). Control of blood sugar level URGENTLY.
(2). PREVENTION of Diabetic COMPLICATIONS & INCREASING DRUG DOSAGE.
Aspect (1) is well controlled by Modern Medicine. Aspect (2) can only be controlled with the help of Ayurveda medicines. In the patients taking ONLY ANTI-DIABETIC medicines, as per data collected from 50 years RESEARCH works of B.H.U., DIABETIC COMPLICATIONS ( Neuropathy, Retinopathy, Nephropathy etc. ) occurs despite increasing dose of anti-diabetic medicines resulting into irreversible damage (including FOOT AMPUTATION). Patients kept on BOTH AYURVED & MODERN MEDICINE don't face such problems.
If patient follows the AYURVEDA medications strictly, the Anti-Diabetic medicines can slowly be WITHDRAWN (up to 50 - 100 % dose reduction, varies from patient to patient).
Any READY-MADE OTC AYURVEDIC anti diabetic product are of NO USE and rather deteriorate the condition of the patient. The medicine for a patient is strictly PREPARED as per the UNIQUE CONSTITUTION of the PATIENT and the DISEASE. AROUND 1000 DIABETICS all over INDIA are receiving medicines from my clinic and the medicines are NOT SAME even for the two patients of the SAME FAMILY then how a product with constant constituents can suit all the patients ( Ayurveda principles CRITICIZE it strongly ) .
To decide the complete planned treatment for your father, his complete medical history must be seen first.
Hope the answer will be helpful.
Warm regards....
