Suggest Ayurvedic Treatment For Atonic Seizures

Dear sir, My wife has atonic seizures, she has been using sodium valporate (encorate 500 mg) since long time, recently she has shefted to ayuvedic medicine, but after stopping alopathy she got fits once in 10 days, what is best treatment for atonic seizures in ayurveda, for how long she has to use medicine, please give me the suggestion, I am form andhra pradesh, india,is there good ayurvdic treatement hospital for this problem, my mail id is YYYY@YYYY , please help me and my family azad

Hello,

Please understand for conditions like atonic seizures the best therapy is follow the neuro-physician's advice. Because he is the one who will be able to help better in controlling such a condition. If a drug like Sodium valproate is prescribed then that has to be continued. As regards Ayurvedic therapy it is not a specific treatment. You may try that but without discontinuing the earlier prescribed drug. Otherwise consequences can be severe. A neurologist is the best judge for this.
