Suggest Ayurvedic Treatment For Stage 2 Liver Cirrhosis

Doctor, My father aged 72 is suffering from hepatitis-B and taking allopathy medications. Doctor is saying that it is liver cirrhosis stage-2 and recommending for liver transplant for long time outlook. Please let me know treatment option in ayurveda. Thanks in advance for your time. Looking for your the earliest reply. Thanks Karthik.T Recent Liver Function Test Result: Total Bilburin - 2.3 mg/dl. Protein Total Serum/Plasma 5.5 g/dl Albumin Serum -3.2 g/dl SGOT-Serum -43 u/l SGPT Serum - 13 u/l. CT Scan report: Shrunken liver parenchyma with irregular nodular surface and mild splennomegaly with mutiple collaterals in splenic hilum, peripancreatic, porta hepatis, GO junction and gastric wall.

1. According to Ayurveda the condition falls under 'Raktavaha Srotovikara', thus hepato protective drug: bhumyamalaki [phyllanthus niruri] is good for shaman [palliaive] purpose

PS. phyllanthus niruri, helps prevent replication of HBV [hepatitis B virus] therby preventing viraemia.

Other single Drug [going by his Age] which you can ask from your Ayurveda Doctor is/are: Manjistha, katuki, bhringraja, Koshaphala, Kushtha [Liv 52-Livomyn-Cirrholiv: has all the said ingredients in it and thus also acts as Hepato protective], thus you may use phyllanthus niruri as single drug [in powder form] and Liv 52 in syrup form .
