Suggest Best Treatment For Knee Pain

I am 57 years old and have had this condition for about 2.5 years. the ortho that did my knee replacements recomends a fusion, my podiatrist an implant. I have put surgery off because I don't want to be off my foot that long. It really hurts. Any advice?
