Hello, I really appreciate your concern.
There are certain medication available for abortion within 49 days of conception but before using it you should be sure about the pregnancy. So I advise your friend to confirm pregnancy by Urine Pregnancy Testing kit available in the market.
If it comes positive then you can go for abortion with Medical termination of Pregnancy kit (MTP). This kit contains 1 tablet of Mifepristone and 4 tablets of Misoprostol. First you have to take 1 mifepristone tablet. After 24-48 hours of it you should take 2 misoprostol tablet either orally or vaginally. You should take another 2 misoprostol if bleeding do not occurs in 24-36 hours. After using MTP it is advisable to go for Ultrasonography to confirm complete abortion. There may be severe uncontrolled bleeding due to kit. In this case you should consult an obstetrician.
