Suggest Better Medications For Brown Spots On Breast

I have these brown patches between my breast area and all over my chest. It itches lightly every now and then. Dermatologists said she didn t know if it was eczema or she called some other name that i can t remember. However, I have used betnovate and I used ketozal. Ketozal used to work because the spots used to come and go. It doesn t anymore. I recently moved to a different Caribbean country and now I have this really bad breakout that won t go away. I don t know what else to do. I don t even know what it is.

Hello,

You are having brown spots and patches between your breast and chest area. Itching makes you uncomfortable. You are suggested not to enter swimming pool or any water bodies for a couple of days while you are being treated. Refrain from scratching the skin. Avoid applying fragranced soaps, lotions, or perfumes around the breasts and chest. Your symptoms are indicative of acanthosis nigricans, it can get triggered by hormonal imbalances, use of birth control pills, thyroid disorders, high level of insulin in the blood, etc.

Get clinically examined, get your medical conditions like thyroid, endocrine disorder, hormonal problems, etc., get treated. In the meantime, avoid eating too much of the wrong foods, like starches and sugars. Go for healthy lifestyle and diet. For skin you can apply locally Retinol A or topical vitamin D or salicylic acid cream/ointment after sensitivity testing. Maintain healthy weight. Stay away from addictions if any.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
