Suggest Better Treatment For Clogged Ear

clogged left ear for the past 3 weeks. felt like it was caused by allergies as I felt drainage down my throat as well. yesterday and today I still have a clogged ear but it also feels like there is cotton in my ear. When will this go away? I talked to a nurse practioner over a week ago and was told to take sudafed and saline spray for nose. Nothing works!

Hello,

Usually, with a decongestant course such symptoms resolve.
You have already used decongestant tablet course and now still you have symptoms.

So your otoscopic ear examination has to be done for further work up.

The mild low dose steroid can be beneficial in such a case.

You should consult nearby otorhinolaryngologist for examination.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
