Suggest Better Treatment For Irregular Periods

I am 41 yrs old and i started having irregular periods since a couple of yrs now.On seeing the gynaec i took few course of medicine .It is such that when i am on medication i get my periods and once i stop the medications i dont get periods.Any suggestions..
