Suggest Better Treatment For Migraine Headache

Hi, I am Patti here, I have been suffering from migraine headaches for the past 30 years and used to take Vasograin on a regular basis, now I have switched over to Naxdom 250 for about a year now, but this does not help when my headache get worse, also I work in the night shift ( have been for the 6-7 years now). Could you please suggest another alternate medicine.

Hi.

I understand your concern.

Naxdom is very helpful to control acute migraine attack.

But it can not prevent further migraine attacks.

Prophylactic medicnes can help to prevent such attack. That incude flunarizine/sodium valporate/topiramate/amitryptiline etc.

Regular and daily intake of this medicines will help in reduce severity and frequency of migraine.

Acute attack can be treated by almotriptan and sumatriptan other than naxdom.

So consult neurologist and discuss about this all options.
