Suggest Better Treatment For Severe Coughing

hi i m raaj 32 yrs old. i m having severe cough from last 1.5 month. i went to a doctor he said its not in the chest but only in the throat. the cough was initially dry but now it is wet . i m already taking Azythromycin with expectorant. what do i need to do now. any precautions regarding food etc.

Hello,

Your symptoms can be related to bronchitis which is an inflammation of the bronchi. It causes severe coughing. I suggest to continue the Azithromycine. I also recommend using an anti-inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the inflammation. I recommend to use an expectorant to help with the cough and drink liquids.
