Suggest Better Treatment For Swelling In Throat

I have had swelling in my throat for three months, a round of antibiotics and steriods help and reduced it for three weeks. It is now back again left side feels more swollen than left. I do have crypts in tonsils and had a small stone come out, I also see pearl sized ones under the skin on the tonsils. However swelling is unbearable, voice has changed, also lots of post nasal drip.

Dear your suffering from chronic tonsillitis with tonsil stone due to chronic infection. Other causes for tonsil stone are dental problems, chronic sinusitis.. Etc.. Dear first you have to reduce infection send throat swab for culture and sensitivity. Depending on the results we will treat tonsillitis, your having post nasal discharge also it may be due to chronic sinusitis. Use decongestant and stream inhalation. Mouth gargling is very important sometimes it may dislodge tonsil stone.

If you are feeling recurrent tonsillitis, obstruction for respiration, tonsil stones you may need tonsillectomy surgery.

Use tab Amoxillinclvulinate 625 thrice a day, cap dalacine - c300 mg twice a day, mouth gargling with steam inhalation may relieve your symptoms. If your symptoms not improved consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
