Suggest Care Needed After Having Nose Bleed Due To Injury

Today my 5 year old hit her nose accidentally and had a nose bleed. It lasted approximately 3-5 minutes, and hasnt bled since then. I have never had a nose bleed. Is there anything i should do? The blood was bright red and flowed very fast from her nose. It really freaked me out!

Hello,

Traumatic bleeding may require the application of pressure 5-10 minutes locally. If still bleeding avoid sneezing or blowing please consult your ENT specialist he will examine and do nasal packing to your child.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
