Suggest Care Needed For Bleeding Surface Scrape On Nail

Surface scrape on nail. Looked newer but could be dirty. There was very minor bleeding and i treated with peroxide and neosporin. There is some sorness around the scratch and possible bruising. I kinda fell my arm across it. Ive never had a tetnis shot do ineed to worry?

Hi

You seem to have developed a superficial skin wound .
Keep the affected area clean and dry .
Since you have never received a tetanus shot ,it is important that you see a nearby doctor and get one soon .
Wash the affected area with lukewarm saline water twice daily.
Apply a topical antibiotic cream like neosporin or mupirocin over the lesion twice daily.
