Hi... the inside of my right knee on the muscle and tendons is soar and is hard to lift and bend my leg.... it sometimes runs down my leg on the muscle and tendon part.... it is soar to the touch too... seems to be in the muscle and tendons.......what might be the cause? Thankyou
As per your query you have leg muscle soreness and facing difficulty in raising leg . Well there can be many reasons for muscle soreness like , medications, especially statins , muscle cramp , muscle strain or rupture , myofascial pain syndrome , hypothyroidism and repetitive muscle strain injury . I would suggest you to take a gentle massage for leg muscle , keep your leg in bucket full of warm water with one spoon salt in it , do light stretching exercises and avoiding high-impact activities until after the muscle pain goes away . If condition persist or get worse then consult orthopedic surgeon . Doctor may order certain test like blood test and CT scan of joint . Doctor may prescribe muscle relaxant , supplement like omega 3 fatty acid or may refer you to endocrinologist .
