Suggest Cause And Remedy For Salty Taste In Mouth

Hi, I have a salty taste in my mouth all the time with a headache and severe left leg pain with pins and needles. My left foot feels iced cold and I also have a intermittent tremor in my left hand. I have had these symptoms for a while now and was hoping you might be able to help?

Hi Dear ,

As per your query you have salty taste in your mouth along with headache , severe left leg pain with pins and needles , iced cold feet and tremor . Well the symptoms you mention in query occur due to many reasons like dehydration , colds, post-nasal drip , eye drops , smoking and condition like Sjogren´s syndrome . But in your case it seems to me thta symptoms occur due to Sjogren´s syndrome . I would suggest you to consult general practitioner for proper diagnosis . Doctor may order ceretin test like complete blood profile , sialogram , salivary scintigraph , eye test and biopsy . Doctor may prescribe drugs like pilocarpine to increase saliva production , Hydroxychloroquine , nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and recommend surgery . Doctor may refer you to specialist .
