Suggest Cause And Remedy For Severe Stomach Pain And Bloating In Elderly
84yr old lady is having stomuch ache bloated does belching ab Nod feels nauseated had fever for 2 days she was given esopramazole first tablets and then injections. She is mentally disturbed also .not having appetite the look of food feels nauseated what cd be ;

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have severe stomach pain and bloating in elderly . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like appendicitis , consuming foods known to cause gas in some people, such as milk products and beans , crohn’s disease , gastroenterit , isntestinal obstruction , irritable bowel syndrome and urinary tract infection . I would suggest you to consult gaastroenterologist for proper examination . Doctor may order ultrasound , endoscopy , CT scan and examine physically . Doctor may prescribe omeprazole ,laxative , antacid , antibiotics like ornidazole and anti viral drug . Doctor may recommend for surgery in case of appendicitis or refer you to urologist for UTI . For now take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain , eat light and no spicy and take light walk daily .
