Suggest Cause For Cramps In Leg And Hands In Elederly

Two nights ago after playing tennis really hard, I started to get cramps in my legs, back and hands. I passed out a couple of times and I still have a lingering cramp in my upper back behind my heart. I am going to a walk in clinic today because I m almost 63 years old. I ve had great health and can you advise possible causes as I will not see a doctor at the clinic, most likely a nurse practitioner. Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
It seems that there might be having strain on back and leg muscles producing spasm of muscles giving rise this problem.
Due to having some degenerative changes in the joint and muscles at this age might have aggravated your problem.
Take complete rest for 2-3 days.
Take analgesic, muscle relaxant medicine for 2-3 days.
Ok and take care.
