Suggest Cause For Dizziness In Patients With High Bp
My mother is 43yrs old and height is apprx 5ft. She has high blood pressure, cholesterol and gastric problems and takes the drugs accordingly. Recently she is feeling dizzy and weakness. What could be the reason behind it?
P.s. she is apprx 79kg.

According to the height of the patient ( 5 ' ) her weight is very high ( over weight i.e79 kg).
Now you mentioned that she is taking drugs for blood pressure , cholesterol & gastric problems .
As if these diseases are not responding to this treatment then dizziness may be due to these diseases , so please get in examination of blood pressure , cholesterol .
2nd reason of dizziness and weakness may be ANEMIA , so get in blood examination for hemoglobin level.
3 Since you mother is over weight , so hyperglycemia ( diabetes ) may be the next reason , so get in an examination for blood sugar level .
In my opinion all these symptoms ( dizziness and weakness ) are a cause of concern because your mother is already a patient of high B P and over weight .
So I advise you please consult a Cardiologist and get his opinion .
