Suggest Cause For Loose And Dark Stools

I'm having very dark, sticky, very loose stools. I'm not sure what the cause is. I've been having some very bad cramping in my stomach. Being woke up at night because my stomach hurts so bad. Going on for 2 1/2 weeks now. All my electrolytes are good. I'm not sure what is happening, any advice?

Hi.

I would recommend an upper GI endoscopy to evaluate and rule out any source of bleeding. Dark colored stools could be a sign of an upper GI bleed so this needs to be ruled out before anything else can be investigated. Please consult your doctor for the investigation at the earliest.
