Suggest Cause For Pain Around The Genital Area In Men

Hello,My husband has been having pain in his genital area. He says it feels like his muscles are getting tighter. He has been working a new job that is harder then what he is use to. He is swinging garbage for a garbage company. Could this be an issue or new muscles being used?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The soreness of muscle can be due to excess use, over exertion induced sprain or strain, nerve compression at certain anatomic points or others. The swelling in groin must be ruled out for possibility of hernia giving secondary discomfort pain in narrated regions.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
