Suggest Cause & Medication For Burning Pain Post Bartholin Gland Removal

burning pain in area of where I had a Bartholin Gland removed 2008. I have had pain off and on since the surgery. Now I have dark blood in that area. There has not been much blood for 2 days. I have had burning pain for several week and it has been diffiicult to sit. Pain is better today.

There is probability of infection in the gland removal area.

I advice you to take tablet cefixime 200 mg three times a day and tab. Aceclofenac under your doctors guidance for pain management.

You should maintain good hygiene at local area with frequent cleaning and dressing.

Please wear clea. cotton clothing over lower area.

Avoid sexual intercourse until you are completely free of the infection.

Clean the area every time after you urinate with dettol.
