Suggest Complications With Fractured Tailbone

I recently heard from a doctor that i had a possible displaced fractured tailbone.I Fell and slipped on something wet very bad and landed on my tailbone. I don't know what that means and am hopping that you can explain what it is and the steps I need to recover well. I need to know when i will be ready to resume physical activity.
