Suggest Course Of Treatment With Pregnyl 5000 IU

Can you please tell me something about traetment with Pregnyl 5000iu? Is it a one time treament? Is it taken by itself or is there any other medication involved? Does it require some kind of preparation or can I start the treatment at any time. I do not ovulate on my own and I never get periods due to my PCOS which have been diagnosed 2 years ago. I have been taking Metformin 1500mg/day and sometimes Provera 10mg to get a period and then Letrozole 7.5mg cd 5-9 but never got any results. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for over 2 years. Im 26 years old and desperate to have a baby.

Hello.

Pregnyl is used one day following last dose of menotropins. So, it is used in conjunction with other drugs ( follicle stimulating agents). Discuss with your gynecologist for these issues.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
