Suggest Cure For A Pea Sized Bump Appearing On The Outer Labia

I have a pea sized bump on my outer labia and it seems to be more under the surface of the skin and it is very uncomfortable. I am concerned about std's but also was thinking this could be an ingrown hair because I shaved my pubic hair about 2 weeks ago. There is no itching just painful to the touch on the whole side the bump is on.
