Suggest Cure For A Persistent Bad Cough

I have had a bad cough for about a week along with fatigue and night sweats and I don t feel like I m getting better yet. I haven t had a runny nose or sneezing so it doesn t seem like a cold. My back is also sore from coughing. I also have atelecstasis so I m wondering if it is hitting me harder this time because of that.

Hi, thank you asking Healthcare Magic.
With this presentation, I think it is really important for a doctor to assess you. You may be having a lung infection. A doctor would need to examine your chest very well and may be ask for some tests like a chest X-ray or Scan, sputum test and a full blood count. You might be having a lung infection in addition to the underlying problem (atelectasis). I would suggest you see a general practitioner or chest medicine specialist for proper assessment.

I hope that helps
I wish you good health
