Suggest Cure For A Small Broken Vein

I have a small broken vein with a knot above my ankle bone. Been in ER and tests indicated a blood clot but one was not found. Was sent home. This just showed up 2 hours ago. No injury just popped up. Does the main vein run on the left inside of leg near ankle bone. Do I need to have a dr check it locally. Thanks

Don't worry. A small injury may cause this kind of presentation. The clot which is formed will help in healing of the vein. It will take sometime to heal and the clot will disappear in 10-15 days gradually. You can take some painkillers if there is pain. There are many vein on both sides of the ankle and both are important as they form a circle distally in the foot to support each other.
